Making a Hat

Almost finished the hat I started ages ago. Added the fur trim, though it still needs some stitching, and the tassel on the tip. Originally was going to be lined but it was fitting a bit small, so I removed the lining and just finished the edge of the wool with a blanket stitch before attaching the fur. I have to say, cutting fur down to an appropriate width is a pain in the ass. I and my hat are both covered in shedding hairs from the fur. What a mess!

The trim is inkle woven I believe, courtesy of Mahault. Material is wool on wool. Tassel is embroidery thread. Fur is ??? Value Village find
